I recently stayed at Mercure in Vichy and found the location to be incredibly convenient for exploring the town. The hotel offers easy parking for a small fee, which is a bonus when traveling by car. The room was spacious and well-equipped with a fridge and kettle, making it comfortable for a longer stay.Unfortunately, Vichy itself lacks much in terms of attractions, so unless you're specifically visiting for thermal treatments, there isn't a compelling reason to stay in the area. However, the hotel's restaurant was a pleasant surprise, with a good selection of menu options and delicious food.The hotel provides all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay, including soundproofed rooms, Wi-Fi, and a helpful 24-hour reception. While the value for the price paid was reasonable, I would suggest exploring other neighboring towns for a more vibrant experience if luxury is a top priority.
